Original plan was a LQ4 but it had an issue that I wasnt comfortable with so I picked up an 01 LS1 long block locally for a good price. I have a good set of 241 heads and lots of other parts if anyone needs them.

As for the f10, it is 228/228 .576/.576 114+4. I speced this cam for the 6.0 but it will work just as well in the 5.7, just going to make power farther up in the powerband than originally planned. My converter stalls plenty high enough for it as it now flashes closer to 4k. Soon as I get my posi fixed, I can start tunning and see what she will do. Pulled the cover tonight and found two broken teeth on the side gears so I have to get a gear service kit to rebuild it.

Hurry up and get it fixed. I'm ready to put an ls1-truck on my special "kill" list.

I ordered my gear service kit just a little while ago. As long as it is here by thurs as promised, she will be running again on friday. Then it is on to getting her tunned to perfection.

We can throw it in the back of my truck, then just run my truck off into the gulf. Hopefully insurance will cover it, so then I can buy a Lightning or something and be fast for a change.
