Yeah, but my magnaflows dropped my timesip 4 seconds when I took the flowmaster off of my old 4.8L setup and dropped in the magnaflow 6.0L setup! That's proof right there!!!!

i know everyone says backpressure is good for these motors but ive decided thats complete bullshit. alot of it comes from the mindset of the older vortec 350's. when i had my truck running straight open longtubes (no Y pipe) i expected the bottom end to be gone. to tell the truth it never felt better! it had more down low grunt and up top spirit than ive ever felt. just a tad on the loud side though

another example: 01 thunder is running 3" true duel on his 4.8...i know what most are thinking..."thats way too much exhaust for that motor" he gets better 60' times on street tires than alot of guys with 5.3's on slicks. in conclusion i beleave backpressure is evil on newer generation gm motors.
