The whole leve system shows how stupid the human race can be at times IMO. I mean ****.... 3/4 of the earth is water
Build 1/2 the city below water level,
a natural and fairly frequent occurance happens that causes the water level to rise,
your house gets wet.......is there something i'm missing here?

 

What a bunch of idiots. What do they expect living in a hole where the drainage water has to be pumped out? Eventually the system was going to break no matter how well the leaves where built.

 

agreed. I'm only about an hour away from New Orleans. My opinion is that the hurricanes flushed a toilet that's been stagnant and needed it for a while now, unfortunately they pumped it out and they are going back to what it was. My opinion was to repopulate the city and blow the levees, if they are that retarded maybe we can do some gene pool cleansing. You have to be a complete idiot and deserve everything you got if you live BELOW sea level and don't carry flood insurance and/ or refuse to evacuate when a storm that is likely to burst said levees is approaching.

All I can say to the rest of the nation:
*Don't have pity on N.O., they were a rat hole before the storm and will be after.
*These aren't "poor people that can't help themselves", they are just pissed off that their free government housing flooded so now they are holding tight in their free travel trailer (still, to this day) with free utilities while local business are begging for workers and they claim they need food stamps b/c they can't get work to feed themselves.
*What you see most of is N.O., keep in mind that the Lake Charles area (near Tx. border) took an equal hit shortly after, the reaction there, b/c of the type of people in that area, was totally different, they've moved on and come together as a community, rather than sit with a hand out for the federal gov't to help, only to turn around and sue them.

Dont get me started!!! There is a lady on my street with 3 kids that was a Katrina victum.... She got a brand new house, brand new Crew Cab, and she does not work!!!! She told my neighbor where she lived in LA and he said it was a complete dump.... I can't believe they cut checks for all these people, it just pisses me off!!! I work my *** off working 2 jobs during college, I finally get out making good money and one of my neighbors gets roughly the same size house as me brand new and she did not even work for it, all she did was live in a **** hole and waited for it to flood!!!!

My girlfriend is a 1st grade teacher and one of her kids is a katrina transplant, the kid is one of the worst acting kids in her school, not class, but school. Never does his work, starts fights, etc... Everytime she trys to talk to the mother she gives some retarded excuse like he is still struggling from Katrina, or something like that....

those "faulty" leves seemed to be working just fine for the many many years they where in place. You can't sue your carpenter because your house was knocked down by a Tornado and claim it's because his work wasn't up to par.

There's a woman here in okc sueing a restaurant because she slipped on ice in the parking lot. She wants $3 mil. I really doubt they purposely iced up their drive to watch people fall.
The suit I was involved in had blame on both sides, I should have been more careful and they should have recalled a defective product instead of just taking blame. I didn't ask for anything close to 3 mil. I got enough to make sure I can stay in the game and cover my medical bills. I still work for my money and put in a lot of OT to earn my way through life.
Makes me think about hauling *** across a parking lot in my wheelchair and hitting a rock that'll cause me to go flying. Then sue the place for hurting my pride. Seems people get a lot more money for that now days than they do for having their entire daily routine f*ked up for the rest of their life.

Every time i buy a vehicle i have to spend another $800 to have controls put in it so i can drive it. If i need a new chair i have to dish out around $3k. If I want to spend time with my friends they have to carry me in the house which is kinda okay on the way in, but try carrying a 175lb man down stairs when your drunk.
I can really see why they deserve all that money. Starting over deserves way more money than the **** people in my situation have to deal with and we still bust our ***** to not need hand outs.
