Default New Orleans

well me and the girlfriend are heading down tomorrow for the weekend in new orleans. I figured this would be as good as any time to go for a couple of days while the isn't many people on vacation down there.
So for the guys that are close to there what all is there to do. we are for sure going to the D Day museum along with the aquarium. I am not a drinker so living it up on burbon street wont be my thing. what are some good resturants and so on. what should we avoid?

Man, I wish I was headed there! Good cookin'!! Making me hungry just thinkin about it. You dont have to drink to enjoy N'orleans, I'd cruise thru burbon st. just to check it out.
MMmm, crawdads!

Hit Bourbon St. early and dine at Pat O'Brians... then again, any restaurant in the French Qtr. ought to be good enough (I get the good stuff all the time, so I get picky )

You can allways take the "9th Ward" tour and dodge bullets

they are pretty much out of season. the ones you find now are kinda hard. crawfish that is.

there are a lot of good eats in nola though. heres a tip for ya. go to harrahs. get a players club card. play for 30 mins and get your parking validated. use them to park in a more secure place then walk down to bourban or where ever.

Try K-Pauls restraunt or one of Emril's. There's a really good Jazz brunch at athis place on canal st. Can't remember the name though. The Zoo there is pretty good as well as the Hustler club!
