Ill be heading down Sunday Afternoon....The thing is, the hotel we are staying at is on bourbon street. We will be there for a week or so, so if anybody wants to hang out at the bars or anything, lemme know.

i say go hit up the french qtr. and burbon st. i myself really enjoyed my tour of the french qtr while i was there. if it still stands go and hit up the river walk mall. really great place to kill time. and hell if you get bored take a trip through tha "Magnolia Housing Projects" just be sure to leave tha wife @ home and take a gun cuz the cops wont be able ta help ya there.lol. hope you enjoy your trip in tha NO...i know i did

Ralph and Kacoos on Toulouse St in the French Quarter is my all time favorite place to eat. They are a bit pricey, but damned worth it.

Ralph and Kacoos is crap compared to most seafood places around. its not bad, just not on par with every where else. If you want good seafood,take a little ride to Middendorfs (sp) in Pass Manchac. I think they may also have a Mike Andersons in NO, but not sure. They will both put R&K to shame.

new orleans is having about 3 murders a day it seems. sometimes more and then the hoodlums will take the occasional day off from crime.

sad part is the city still has only half of it's population

well back home safely. I can must say I rather enjoyed it. If you didn't know the huricane came thru there you wouldn't even have known it. there wasn't hardly any body there. we walked freely up and down burbon street with out getting with in 2 feet of people. kinda crazy.

Man then you werent in the right spot. We just rolled in and holy ****, we were around a plant and the slums were dead. THere was abselutely nobody out at all! It was a ghost town and everything is demolished! Its really spooky. National guard is still sitting outside our building and were are really close to Bourbon st.
