used engine. Pulled the caps before starting, and everything looked great, very smoothed/polished look.

This is MWalls's engine, has 14K something miles on the short block. Full ARP bottom end, with no machine work.

So, Someone took this 14kmile engine out, sold it to you, and now it has problems?? He'd be at my house tonight helping pull it so he could take it back.

the paint on the block looked great . . . . so great that it had been repainted. I don't know who painted it. If it was the machine shop, or a previous owner, but it's been painted.
