Southern FL, GA, AL, LA, MS, TN, SC, NC,......AR

Need a little help with engine, spun cam/main bearings.

First thing you need to do is take the belt off to make sure it isnt anything to do with any of the accessories then I would pull the front cover off and check the cam retainer plate. If all else fails just beat the **** out of it till it blows then you'll find out what it was

thanks, but we're not doing the 3 motor mod.

Make sure you check the torque converter and flexplate bolts too, there's not a lot of clearance between them and the block.

check them how/what for? . . . there was 1/2 to 1/4 gap between the TC, and the flex plate

My tc and flexplate bolts backed out on me after my motor swap and it didnt sound anything like that..

well the flex plate bolts aren't going to back out . . . they have locktite, and 74ft lbs on them. The TC bolts are just heman`d on there.

I'm hoping that its something as simple as the starter, but that would be too good to be true.
