Your's looks 10 times better than mine ! haahha . . . I just installed mine tonight, and I love them !!! There's no comparing them to the stockers.

Did you use the wiring kit that it came with, or did you reverse your plug wires?

May be referring to installation of ballasts, etc. I dunno.

I've got an 02, and yours is an 06, so the lamp makes a huge difference. I now see what everyone was talking about with the light beam out to the sides. It doesn't matter how dark your widows are tinted, at night if there's someone next to me, if you're picking your nose, I can see you.

My kit is a bit different than yours. When I first plugged in the head light plugs into the ballast, nothing happened. So I took the plug apart, flipped around the wires, and tried again, and they worked. There's no inline fuse or anything. I'd like to wire up a relay or something in it. As far as the plugs go, mine are just the same. I ordered 6K bulbs, they're still a white light, but I'll get the 5K bulbs later on.

well, im happy with my 8k bulbs, they might not put out as much light as the lower temp bulbs but they look better. I dont need the sun beaming out my low beams at night, i drove just fine with my old halogens. But everyone has their preference. And yeah, you would need the housing with the shade in it. thats what helps it focus.

The 5000K bulbs are what I want. My wife asked why I hadn't put HIDs in her car, so I may give her mine, and buy me a 5000K kit.

The '02's housings have the "etched-like" looking glass that'll beam more light downward & sideways. I had always heard bad things with those. If I had kept my '02 'Kon, I'd have bought Denali housings for the projectors. Someone posted (on a board I don't remember) pics of scraping the material on the inside of the stock lenses to eliminate that etched look, but I don't remember where I saw that. The final product came out close to clear, untouched glass. Seemed like a lot of trouble.
