thinking about selling the truck. i love the thing, but its my daily driver, and fuel mileage is important. pretty much all the basic bolt ons are done, and there isnt much left to do without going into the motor, or transmission, which i dont really have the money to do anyways
i want a cbr1000rr really bad. it sucks selling them and staring at them all day long, and working with people that ride, and not having a bike. besides, a high 9-low 10 sec. bike is plenty fast. no need to mod
i was offered $8500 cash this morning for my truck. it is awfully tempting. i just hate to see it go, because i have put a lot of time and sweat in this thing. what is everyones opinion?

i want a bike bad too, but the houston area is a rough place to ride. too many idiots on the road for me. ive had 2 buddies die in the last 2 years riding motorcycles around houston, and i have another buddy stick in a wheelchair that would seem retarded to anyone who didnt know him before the accident.

is the truck paid for? if so definitely keep it, just take a step back for now. Save up a few bucks here and there and either your passion will reignite or you'll have the money to spend on a bike, you may come across a killer deal on a trade in one day, but if you buy a new one then you'll be stuck in that note upside down and not able to take advantage of it.

Buddy of mine died 3 years ago on one being stupid. I have a bike, I ride it but honestly I have been thinking hard about getting rid of it. I have almost laid it down 3 times because of other idiots not seeing me. Its so much fun and the freedom you feel on it is amazing but I think I would rather spend my money on a used ta or ss. BTW if you are interested in an 01 F4i let me know I want what I owe on it, 2800, full length akrapovic exhaust, and power commander.
