Yea he had on a harness and was in a 10 point cage. A friend of mine built the car. It was a fox body mustang with a stroker and 3 stages on it. There are some pics of the wreck around on Jackson underground but I am not going to post them out of respect for his family. He got sidways and tried to drive out of it. He went across the track and them back to his lane, into the wall and launched up and struck the timeing pole and that split the car in half and ejected him. It is a real loss

Sorry to hear about this. There was a guy killed at that track years ago when I live there.
