For those of you that have been to this track I have some questions. They're doing a 0-100-0, 60-100, and 60-130mph challenge out there and I was curious to know if there is enough room to do some of this. I thought they were still only doing 1/8 mile runs due to the fact that there isn't enough shut down area. I've never been there so I'm wondering if they have enough room to safely do this type of contest?
What are the facilities like out there? Is there a specific gate you enter through?

 

the northside v southside ls1 tech meet was there and people went 9.7 in the 1/4 so I would assume it's long enough. farmerbeau has also been. They are doing 1/4 mile runs for sure.

 

John Hennessey owns it and they have made the track a full quarter mile with 2100ft of shutdown and they are about to build a 400ftx300ft skidpad for drift, auto-x, etc. and they are in the early planning stages of a 2 mile road race course.

I have yet to make it out there. but itis closer to me than HRP so i'm gonna try to.

 

Since Jon Henessey has bought it, they turned it into a 1/4 mile track. We had some good runs out there as far as traction was concerned. Just make sure you go during the day as the sun helps traction. Im unsure however if there is enough space for the 60-130. Some take longer than others...Know what i mean?
