Default Is this street legal?

I've been looking for a DD car or motorcycle to use on sunny days and came across this on craigslist:

http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/305429028.html

With a 200cc motor will this thing first, even be quick enough to ride on the highway and 2nd, does anyone know if it's even street legal? I e-mailed the guy about it but haven't heard anything back yet. Just to reiterate, I'm not at all looking for a fast bike, it can be slow as a snail for all I care as long as I can use it, use it safely, and it's street legal.

You'd get run over definately on the hiway w/ that thing. I looked at and demoed (sp.) a 250cc cruiser and was all set to get it untill I test rode it and it was flat wide open at 50mph in town. It was advertised to "Cruise at a top speed of 85mph...". My ***...it couldn't do 85 if you pushed it off a cliff...Stay away from small cc bikes and get at least a 600cc sportbike or a 750 or above cc cruiser...JMHO

P.S. sorry about the bra did you sell it yet I've been outta town for a week at a Safety Conference in the supposedly geographical center of Texas...

Yes, it is street legal, however, you dont want to buy it. In order for it to be street legal, it has to be over 200cc's have a light, have a tag and you wearing a helmet. But I HIGHLY suggest against it

Theres a law saying a bike has to be over 200 CCs to be street legal.

Someone better tell Aprillia and all these other scooter makers that only have 50 or 100 CC engines on em.
