There's a shop on Siegen, if you're ever in BR anytime soon. Go on Sig's website. They list 'em. I've got about $300 in the stash (looking to double before December). I don't know if that takes priority over X-mas shopping for the kids. I know, I know... My kids deserve they're gifts. Got some other financial obligations that need to be handled before the gun purchase. Sig may have to wait.

Hey, Matt! Check ya PMs.
To get back on topic... I wanted to pass by Jim's on Siegen, but my newborn has been battling 100+ degree fever. I took off to be home with him. Hebert Guns in P-ville is also listed on Sig's site. Certified used may be the way for me, if they have a 229 for the right price.
Been selling things like crazy on eBay to help with funding. Anyone want a new set of golf clubs (irons only or a set of irons & woods)? Lemme know.

Since you may still be on the fence, I will put in another plug for the XD40. I have a stock XD40 w/ 4" barrel that I absolutely love. I have tried several Glocks and do not particularly like the way they feel and shoot. My XD is much smoother and feels much better in my hand. I also looked at the S&W when I was deciding on what I wanted. I liked the way it felt but never got a chance to shoot one.
