You do know you can still have your fuel injection right ? With the carb intake you can just put a tb on top and run your intake tube anywhere without interference.

which carb intake would you choose and how would you mount the throttle body especially if it was a cable driven one?

Also I'm working on a billet adapter to mount up a DBW 90mm ttb to the top of the Vic. Jr. intake. Ducting an elbow to the ttb entrance will be a bit easier and should improve throttle response.

Good luck.

I don't have a clue about the holes. I just remember seeing that adapter from one of the Parish threads and thought you might want to see it. Actually I think that adapter plate is pretty freaking ugly..

i think its ugly too and look how much smaller volume the air has to get into once it passes the throttle body to "turn" down into the intake, IMO flow would be greatly reduced from its potential. its liek the air goes throgh the throttle body then it all has to slide up to that curve thats about half as thick as the rest of the unit. thanks for showing it to me though.

i think that would be way overkill for a n/a 5.3 cam only truck.

If your talking about a flying toilet setup with mechanical fuel injection that would make it a trailor queen and kill any drivability Plus it would cost alot more than an ls6 swap
