things I need to get or have, and need help from members who have done the swap.
I have weiand alluminum intake, ls1 water pump
Need, ls1 map sensor, relocate bracket for idler pulley, belt, egr block off plate, get new pulley and pressed on.
that should be all I need to do the swap the cheap way. Using my injectors and fuel rails and cross over tube. wont look pretty but should be able to do the swap for about 600 bucks.
Am I missing anything else?? thanks for the help.

You'll also need to make a bracket for your fuel rails in addition to making the idler bkt
I dont know if you can buy the press on pulley seperate or not
"bolt on yes"
If it were me and I were trying to go the cheapest route with a cable driven TB
I believe I would first attempt cutting the neck of the trk WP down
then 90 it like yelo did
If I didnt like that, I would cut the shaft right below the trk WP pulley and have the shaft pressed out
Then I would cut the pulley off the car intake (not the shaft) to give you room to have its pulley pressed off without damaging the pump
next have the truck pulley pressed on
Only thing that worries me is damage to the pump but im sure it can be done
I bought a 97 vette wp/ bolt on pulley and spaced the pulley out about 5/8"
it will also need to be drilled and tapped for the tensioner with a small spacer below it (like shown in pic)
seems simpler than the whole press on press off thing
anyways, here it is for reference

I dont know why everyone is going to so much trouble for the ls6 intake. Do a carb intake and be done. You won't have to touch the front accessories and all will be well.
