Default Injectors

My injectors are maxed out and i don't really know anything about it.. Does it hurt or is it a big power loss or what?

you don't need injectors bret. you have a mild tune. headers and a cold air. No reason to up grade until you get a little deeper into the mod game

What AFR are you commanding? If it is tooooo rich it will cause higher IDC....

yours arent maxed out they just have a high duty cycle maxing them out would be over 100%

Theoretically speaking anything over 100% is maxed, but in reality much over about 85% is pushing it because the injectors are made to cycle in order to maintain the requested flow rate. Anything over ~85% and the flow rate starts to become unpredictable.

However I doubt his injectors are maxed out based on the mods in his sig. I would be surprised if they hit 90%. Adding a cam would probably push them over the top.

if i remember his hit right at 90% at 6000rpms.

What was the AFR at that point?

It couldn't hurt to look for a set of 8.1L injectors if future mods are in the plans.
