Well they started mandatory evacuations for parts of Brazoria County this morning at 10:00 AM. They said that later on in the day, they may call for it for the rest of the county.

well i guess it is going to hit me.
i see the computer models have 2 lines right over me.
how do i know it is going to be me.

MY WIFE MADE A WISH.
that the hurricane will come in and blow away the house and the store.
so far it looks like her wish is coming true.

Last nights forecast really scared me. I'm by myself, Eric not due to come home till the 15th, he's in the Bahamas.

Frank B was showing possible 100mph winds to hit our area. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080911/ap_on_re_us/ike_8. I have to stay put I have Tank and Bella. I'm hoping that the steel roof, french drains, and new dredges are going to help.

I'm making a call to our Allstate agent the morning.

lisa, i would definaetly leave, take the dogs up north atleast to like conroe/huntsville and rent a hotel room, it will be alot safer, im only a little north than you and we are headed out but i just got of work and have to catch some sleep....

no need to ride it a hurricane at 100+mph...

Orange and Jefferson counties are under mando evac as well... Hasn't reached me yet. I'm in Tyler Co.
