Lol. Yea theyre dangerous. Two weeks before I went on my last one, a guy in another town was killed by a hog. The week before my last trip, a guy we hunt with was almost killed by one, a dog damn near got killed saving the mans life.

What happened when the guy got killed, is the pig broke, and the man was standing in the pigs way out. He tripped, and the hog cut him from his ankles on up, severing the femeral artery (sp)

The second guy ran in before the catch dogs, and the pig broke bay and charged him. Same thing, while trying to run backwards, tripped and the pig started at his ankles. One of the bay/catch dogs we use, jumped at the pig, and got sliced open. Luckily the pig ran off, and the other hunters were able to load the man on a boat, and get him to the hospital.

These are wild animals with razor sharp tusk!!! They arent pot bellied pigs at your grandma's house

I dont. Some people do. I trust the dogs. I can drop a leash with a pit bull attatched to the other end way quicker than I can draw a pistol, aim and shoot. I keep my knife on me. Figure if I kill em with a knife once theyre caught, why cant I kill one with the same knife if Im getting attacked? Seeing what these dogs are capable of, I trust any of the catch dogs we hunt with are more than capable of pulling anything 250 or so pounds off of me, at least long enough for me to get away!!

Heart. Throat is too messy (as is a tommahawk to the skull ) lung takes too long. I stick the knife between some ribs and wiggle it around till I see that deep red blood (oxygenated blood) start coming out. Then we keep holding the pig till its totally incapacitated

i like my .40 cal with 185 gr hollow points for hogs..

we ease around in a boat sometimes and bust their *** off the bank of the river... its pretty exciting.

head shot at 15-20 yds with the .40 is night night for a hog. pork tenderloin on the grill.

never been charged like that though... would probably **** myself and climb a tree.
