thats awesome! where do you hunt hogs with spears at? how is it done? i secretly always wanted to spear a whitetail but i don't know anything about that method of hunting.

 

We usually use knives, but I didnt want him in that close if we caught a big pig, so I got this spear for him.

You actually can hunt them pretty much anywhere. They are a nusance, tear up the land, and run everything else out the area.

nah not really but thats awesome. dont get eaten by any of those big boy hogs tryin to get close enough to spear.

thats what i'm picturing, jump down on top of 'em and stick 'em into the ground! it sounds thrilling, and way cooler than "noodling"

We catch them with dogs, then kill them with a knife. I didnt want to catch a 250+lb hog and when he got there it break and cut anyone. Figured the spear was safer.

 

these folks never saw dog hunting before i guess?

the dogs pin the hog for the most part, tormenting it and biting the **** out of it.. then you ease up and kill that nasty bastad. basically.

we pin em around here and either pop em with a .22 or knife em.

what type dogs you runnin ? pits are good hoggy doggies.
