17! First truck was a 99 GMC sierra. Found this website cuz my brother was addicted to trucks then he grew out of it and i got his truck and sold the sierra.

28, and have really only started performance modding shortly after I got this truck (Jan 2004). I grew up with a with a very rudimentary understanding of performance/engines since my dad has the mechanical knowledge of a towel. Plus, looking back I have lost a lot of modding time due to how long/intense my education has been. Though it is starting to pay off a little.


Some days I wish I had grown up in the garage, taken autoshop, gone to tech school and be working on engines daily. Oh well, finding this site has been a great substitute, and I have learned a ton since joining. I stumbled onto this board through another forum then hey presto: commence modulation of truckly speed function , nice!

17 here. What got me started was when my friend with a f-150 5.4 first got his truck and talked alot of **** about it bein the fastest thing in the world while my first car was a honda accord soon after i got the car i turned around a sold it for twice as much as i payed for it and bought me a 99 sierra 5.3. My friend shut his mouth soon after

18 had me a primered Civic hatch with a Vtech but needed a truck been playin with the black one its ok i miss my Civic gotta love the vtech powa!

22. started when I was about 15 helpin my dad build my jeep, wrangler, 350 manual with a 4.5" lift and 33s, that was one bad *** rig after bout 4 months of havin that some kid offered me bout 3k more than I had into it so I sold it and bought an 85 regal wit a V8. after that i got a 4banger ecsb s10 beat the **** outta that, picked up my rcsb 4wd 5spd 4.3 silvy then i picked up my 2wd rcsb i got now... in between there theres been a couple trucks ive just fixed up and sold as soon as they were road worthy lol

28, I'm fortunate enough to have had very little knowledge about the potential of these trucks before I bought my house....

if I knew then what I know now I would probably be still in that old apartment with a quick/broken truck
