23, got started about 12 yrs old with a Truimph 750 Bonneville in boxes... rebuilt it from the ground up with Dad's funding and my busted knuckles. I guess all my teens were spent wrenching on the "trumpet" and my '88 K5 blazer with the usual big *** lift and 454 with dual quads... LOL... when I turned 18, my dad signed the title over to his '48/'72 Harley Pan/Shovel custom... now I have 2 bikes I can park at just about any bike show and take home hardware from... When I turned 19 I sold the K5 and got a '00 rcsb 4.3 5spd NBS Chevy. did the usual dumb teengae **** to it, too many speakers, neons
... and plenty more... maybe it was a good thing it got totalled when an old lady pulled out in front of me in a caprice station wagon :ouch:
-I actually made $3500 on the truck after insurance paid it off... and put that down on what I have now... the '00 Silverado 'Broken Parts Edition' its been my money pit pretty much ever since. LOL... so now its just the truck, and my bikes...

I'm 20, starting getting into trucks when my stepdad and I started working on a 58 chevy truck when I was 15, it's still not finished to this day because my stepdad took over the project and has been slacking on it. I drove an 88 ford ranger all throughout highschool which I drove the **** out of then literally blew the 4 front valves for the 2 front pistons so I rebuilt that little motor and that got me a little knowledge of motors. I've always been into hotrods and muscle cars but thought that a fast truck was where it's at. In sept of 05 I bought my 99 and then shortly after found this site where I learned all about lsx motors and how easy they were to mod and make fast. Now I am currently on my way to having a 12 second NA RCSB 5.3. Not necessarily bidding for the fastest but I want to be in the 12s by a good amount not just a little bit. Cam is the going this weekend

I am 29, I started working/restoring cars when I was about 13. I helped/watched my brother and father restore a 67 mustang. When I turned 15 I got a 65 Ford pickup and restored it. I sold the truck when I was 16-17 and bought a 70 mustang. Restored it and drove it throughout college. I have had multiple POSes during my college years for a DD. I parked the mustang about 4-5 years ago after a bad hail strom. I built a house about 3 years ago so I could start working on it again. I bought my truck about 3 years ago and basically I have done nothing to it, which is fine. It starts, stops and gets me where I need to go. I started tearing apart the mustang a few months ago after years of planning. This time no expense will be spared so I am looking at a 3 year build time. The car will recieve basically a custom frame, floor pans, cage, rear end, mini tub, etc. I am trying to build everything myself. Oh and it will be a LS1/t56 powered Mustang.....

Don't feel bad Kaleb, the only things I managed to do to my truck since I joined in '04 is change the exhaust 3 times, on my 4th set of wheels and tires, on my 3rd CAI, and finally got a tune.
