I am 20 and I have been modding for the last 5 years. My first truck was a 92 GMC 350 (of course I thought it was fast being 15) and I didn't know a whole lot about performance stuff so I did the little things (exhaust, air intake, throttle body spacer) and quite a bit of exterior mods. I started learning alot more about cars and my dad has always been a fan of hot rods and working on them so we got the Mustang in my sig to turn into a prostreet car together. I got my current truck and immediately began modding it and am still in the process, which never ends...

I'm 26, started modding in 1995 on a 91 scsb stepside. Didn't get into the performance any, but I did do the wheels, lowering, custom paint, shaving, stereo, etc. Had around $5000 in stereo equipment in it. Finally sold the truck in 1999 and purchased the truck I own now. 3 weeks after I had it, I had the molding shaved, flowmaster, stereo in it. Then it kinda went from there over the next 8 years.

I'm 29 and I don't know about modding but I have been working on vehicles since I was about 15. I have lost count of how many different pos's I have owned. Can't say any of them where fast. When I was in college I was in to playing in the mud with my 1984 K-10. Spent a fortune on that truck upgrading power and keeping it running after breaking stuff out playing. Never spent any money on the looks of it tho and it's rusting away. Now I just want to get it sold for roughly the value of the drivetrain so I have some more money to spend on my current truck. Hard to find someone who wants a gas guzzling 383, rusting away mud truck. I almost have to laugh when people call about it and ask me about the gas mileage and if it has A/C..

I'm 33. I've been going to the track with my uncle and dad when I was VERY young, probably 5-6 yrs old. So I've been around racing my whole life. While I've always raced at the track, I've never had anything even remotely quick until the Sierra.

Im 21 next month(woo). Ive been modding my truck since I got it back in Nov. 03. I started off with a grill and am now working on a 408 lol. Crazy how these mods tend to snowball. I never was really too into working on vehicles until I got one of my own, and now I love it. First race(track) was at an 1/8th mile track locally, got me hooked on performance mods. I would say ive been racing for about 2 1/2 years, but I do a load of research and it goes a long way.

Im 26, I've had a quite a few trucks before but never modded just the wheels stereo combos... I joined the site in 04 and all I wanted was a hypertech programmer for my truck... well yall know the rest, once you start you cant stop... so now I have spent a whole lot more than what a hypertech is worth.... so I've only been in the game for 3 years...

i am 19, and i've been around racing since....well before i was 1 year old. lol. my dad started racing drag boats the same month i was born!!! so i've been around racing my entire life, which explains my need for speed. i've worked on 500ci, 1300hp N/A racing motors since i could use a tool, and the past three years we've moved on to drag cars. the car and boat can run 7 sec. 1/4 miles. lol, i'd say our family has a serious problem. haha and all of that is what caused me to start putting money into my truck to make it faster. i only made one mistake, i should have started out with a rc/sb chevy instead of my underpowered/overweight "Hemi". haha
