How do I get a broken, corroded bolt out?
#11
I ended up hitting it with a punch to try to loosen it, and the bolt started to break around where the easyout was stuck inside. I was able to remove the easyout with needlenoses, and then I eventually just drilled out the old bolt and tapped the threads. I think I drilled it perfect and was tapping into the original threads because it went in pretty easy. I then cleaned up a bunch of metal shavings from the bottom of the hole and the new bolt (maximum strength) went in perfectly. I had never used a tap before, so I was scared as hell that I was going to screw it up, but it worked. Also I bought some PB Blaster, and it's great. Thanks for the help guys.

Dude, keep soaking that bitch with break free or something. It takes a lot more time than squirt\twist. Soak for a week ...(spray it every day) then vice grip it. And I mean vice grip it..should take two hands and all you got to close the grip and don't pinch your skin...**** hurts...haha.
