I know what you mean Randy. I have a feeling I am going to be in that same boat with this new converter even with the 26x11.50 ET streets. I couldnt get it to dead hook before on nitrous and this fuddle hits HARD. I have a feeling I will be giving the et's all they can take if not more on motor now. I guess I will see on sunday.

Damn newbie mods.

I wondered if you changed converter brands. Why did you switch from the Yank? And what size stall did you go with?

There are a couple of reasons I didnt go back with Yank. #1, their customer service. Dave was very short with me both on the phone and thru email. Secondly, I was informed that the TT3000 could not hold the power I was putting thru it on nitrous and the was recomended that I go to the pt3200. Reason 3, they pt3200 is $900. After talking in depth to John at Fuddle I decided on one of their HP Truck converters in a 3200/2.2str. Much to my surprise, it is a lot looser than I expected and it flashes somewhere in teh 36-3800 range. I am going to try it like it is but may end up seending it back to have it stalled down a bit.

I hope my Yank last for a while. I asked them if they recomended anything for my setup other than the tt3000. Told then I was hoping for over 500rwhp. They told me it would be just fine. Even after I said I needed it to handle more in the future. Converters are too damn much to be replacing all the time. I think a 3200 would be too much with the Whipple. I'll stick it out with the Yank I guess until it tears up
