Default good tuner, dont send me to SA please

alright so after hearing i only have 22* of timing at WOT because of my "exhaust restriction" and talking to ap2002 i have determined i need a new tuner. i recently had owen at Advanced Racing Dynamics tune me. everything is great except i have low timing (IMO) and i also believe that i shift too early. my only option at this point is to go back to MTI or have owen give it another shot after the LT's and ORY and redyno. can anyone recommend a good tuner in the houston area? please understand that the houston area does not include driving to San Antonio to have allen do it. sorry, but i wont be doing that

Does allen do mail orders? I wounder if you send him a file if he would "Hook a brother up?" I know I'm not in your area but I've heard alot of good things about the man. Give him a call and see if there is some thing that can be worked out!

whats your problem with getting it done by allen...it's not that far down I10 to a damn good tune....he was going to nickens in conroe but lately are mailing them their tunes as well but still goes over there every now and then....you can catch him there if it not too far of a drive for you....

NoSh*t! I would drive 4hrs (once) to get up on his dyno. Too many people speak very highly of his work to be wrong. Just do it.

well i've made the trip several times to SA for updates and its about a 3.5 hour drive for me on the east side of houston, from katy area your looking at 2 hours, well you can give mti,g-force a try and see they can do for you, g-force is 2 hours from you, mti is about 1.25 hours from you, so its your choice lol.

Dude look. By doing this you are selling yourself short. MTI cant tune a truck like Nelson. Trust me, you are gonna regret spending another 400 bucks for some dumbass that doesnt know a fuel trim from his *** hair. "buy once, cry once" Is a great moto to live by when you are dealing with your truck. This is the reason i bought my tanny, verter, cam, tune, etc, from dealers and vendors that know their ****. Just take a drive.

BTW, Im making the drive here in a few weeks so dont be a wussy!

haha well actually MTI is only abotu thirty minutes from my home but like beau is sayign im just a wussy. i guess sometime ill have to make a day of it and go. how much would allen charge for a tune and dyno pull since he has never done it before? i used to tune with MTI and it would only be 75$ but i understand that no one can tune like allen. v8, where is g-force, i have never heard of them... i guess i will have to go to SA. sometime ill make the trip, can someone give me his email address and street address?

Youll pay like 375 for a lifetime of free tunes. Beleive me its worth it. Dont go to G-force, ive heard bad things recently. Just do the Nelson tune. http://www.nelsonperformance.com/ DO IT
