Default Is This A Good Cam

HEY I WAS IN A WEBSITE SEARCHING FOR A CAM THIS IS WHAT I FOUND IS THIS WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE THIS IS THE QUOTE I COPY AND PASTED

The specs are

Dur@ .050 218/218 Lift with stock 1.7 rockers .550/.550 on a 117 LSA. It is real similar to the stock 405 horse LS6 cam, a stock LS6 cam is 204/218. This cam is new with no miles on it, has never been installed. I can take some pics and email them if you want to see it, but we all know what a cam looks like.

IT SELLING FOR 250 BRAND NEW SHOULD I GET IT

For that price, no. You could pick up an LS6 cam and springs way cheaper than that. A used cam is not always a bad thing.

+1 For $250, you can get a lot better cam specs. Or just get a ls6 cam/springs like mentioned.

What stall converter will you be using?

yeah, it'd make a good combo with some 3.73 or lower (numerically higher) gears...

if you want to run a 3000 verter, i would go with a 216/220 or 220/220 112lsa. both of these will sound lopey, push out ggod power and be very driveable in stop/go traffic

get a TR220 or a TSP220 . . . both have package deals . . . or wait and pick up something used.
