bored out of my mind. i have recently started bringing my lap top to work with me to kill time. gosh i hate workin nights. i have watched anchorman, pineapple express, 40 year old virgin, and 2 episodes of house.. all tonight since 6:30 pm. the only thing i have done on my 12 hour shift is take samples (15 minutes) 6:00 rounds (20 minutes) and 12:00 rounds (20 minutes) for a whopping grand total of 55 minutes of work. jeez im worn out...lol im ready for long change

 

welcome to the club! i'm stuck in India for a few more weeks, 10.5 hours ahead of home (michigan) and it's dead on here while i'm awake. as far as work, i only go in 3 days a week for like an hour at a time.

i feel your pain.

I've been on 7-12's now for a couple weeks and don't see an end till next year some time... Uncle Sam loves me

I get bored out here too... If I didn't post from my phone half the night I'd go nuts... I'm in the parking lot warming up the truck for the drive home as I post this lol.

 

I've been trying to get onto the second shift here where I work for several months now, 10 hour shifts m-thursday 3 day weekend AND second shift gets a better pay rate and an extra 20 minute break... It sucks that I'm the only supervisor on the first shift right now or they would let me go nights... oh well...

 

ap, starting monday the 17th is my hell week. tonight is my last night before the weekend off. im ready for the brek. got a bunch of work to do around the house

 

yeah last night was suppose to be my last night also then off for the weekend but im having to go in to cover for someone else.. so im working straight till next fri maybe? got to love that 7day doubletime!

 

you 2 shift workers make me sick!!!! damn i miss my dupont shift!!!! been off it for 2 years, guess thats what i get for taking a promotion

 

I love night shift the best! It sucks being on swing shifts!

 

i was offered a day job last year (ww operator), easiest job in the plant... and i declined it!!! people at work think im stupid for not taking it..lol... i just dont care for a day job right now.... im still young and dont care for it, i enjoy the long changes too much (if im off)..lol... i know to date, if i wanted all i have to do is speak up, i might think of picking that offer up in about 5yrs or so... when my kids get alittle older where i wont have to miss their games (if they are still playing sports)... and stuff....
