fed ex can deny it since they have proof of a delivery. i had to call customer service and the girl on the phone basically said i have to get the shipper to file a claim. fedex will reimburse them the money and it's up to the company to send me another set of speakers or give me my money back.

We do quiet a bit of receiving and shipping, I have accounts with all of them...fedex is the most user friendly believe it not (non-union heheheheh). They all do their share of screwing up, believe me. I never ship fedex or ups to a jobsite, ANYBODY can sign for that stuff.

But the customer service chick is right...the system deals with millions of packages and the most effective way to handle mis-shipments is for the shipper to file a claim...if the receiver never received it then how can the receiver file a claim is their thoery. Only if it was damaged. At least you can track it. If USPS ***** up you are *** out...no tracking....no old lady's house to go to.

When they bring your speaker, make sure they give you YOUR box with YOUR tracking number on it. I bet you a hundred bucks they can't. They will look like ******** for lying and "stealing" your speaker. Thought they had a freeby, that's it in a nut shell.
