I have been without power since Katrina, just got internet back up at work.
Been worried about you guys south of me. I hope everyone is Ok. It sucks up here, no power, cant get any gas. Had to park my truck and start riding
the motorcycle to stretch out my gas as long as I can. My damn truck is on less than 1/4 of a tank I'm screwed.
But no mater how cruddy it is here, I feel very lucky and fortunate. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone on the Coast of Ms. and La. I have family on the coast and everyone so far is ok. Havent been able to contact one of may Uncles that stayed down there during Katrina.
If anyone needs anythjing, please let me know. I dont know what I can do if anything, but I will try. If anyone needs a place to stay my doors are open. I dont have any power yet, but we have hot water and a gas stove to cook on.

Glad to here your OK. I'm in the same boat as you. No power or Gas. But glad i still have a home to come to. Our prayers go out to the one's not so lucky.

 

No power, PITA to get gas, and they are running out. Oh well, and I just did the heads and cam swap Thurs Look for teh gas mnilage to get worse

 

Glad your back Ranwalk. We were fortunate enough to get the electricity back on monday night. I might go top off my gas tank just for incase b/c we will prob. see gas in the $4 + range. Wonder if I should still put the 6.0 in?

 

I just did my heads and cam Thurs And somehow I burnt up both O2 sensors, so I imagine I'm a little rich right now. Also I doubt a 218/224 is considered an economy cam to anyone but my wife

 

well its good to see you post randy. if yall need anything let me know, i'll try to do what i can. i sure would like to hear something from the rest of the guys out that way....

matt, have you heard from any of GOIR? i've talked to the local people in gonz/pville area and we're all fine...we even have electricity for the most part. but i can't get on our site and of course trying to call anyone on a cellphone is pointless. let me know if you heard anything from the BR/livingston/NO guys....

 

Yeehaaa, I finaly got power back and DSL is running. Did i mention Dial up sucks lol. Glad to see some of you are reporting in.

 

Hope you guys in MS and LA are ok.. We were very fortunate here, but about 30 miles south didnt fair so well.. If you guys need anything (assuming you can read this) let me know. I will do my best to help you guys out! You guys take care, and may GOD be with you as you return to a normal life!

 

Tony I talked to Ross, just got power back tonite may go to gtowne and just see who shows??

 

Finally back on at the warehouse. We were without power for only 24 hrs, so I'm feeling pretty lucky. I've talked to John(Goshawk)2 times since the storm, and everything is good his way. He also talked to Bigkid and said he was good. I think John had alittle damage on his house, but nothing major.

I only had two trees fall down in the yard. They didn't hit anything, and the truck stayed under the shed. Gas is pretty short here, but I filled up both my truck and my Olds, so I should be good for a few weeks. I also have a backup motorcycle in case. I feel very lucky we only had 50mph winds. I keep hearing from my friends on the coast that have NOTHING left. Now I hear about all the looting, killing, and raping going on in the Big Easy, and it makes me sick to my stomach. Some of these idiots are shooting at helicopters and people trying to help them. What in the hell is going on?!?!?

Randy, others....I'm glad to hear you all are ok, and I'll keep you updated on John. It will probably be a while before we see him online.
