Duke boys on water!!

Yep... The race car goes on the back burner once again but I couldn't help it. A friend of mine called and said "bring me $500 cash and you can have my boat. No he doesn't smoke crack! Its a 21ft. 1989 chaparral 198 xl with an inboard/outboard 305 sb chevy/mercruiser. The interior needs work but the engine has 20 hours on it since it's rebuild. The lower unit has three hours on it and costs $3,000 brand new. I put my optima yellow top on it and fired it up. Purrs like a kitten... All I have to do is replace the shift cable and put in some pilot seats.. I'm thinking summitt racing bucket seats for the driver and passenger...
She can legally hold nine people but she can handle more than that, so duke boys and the rest of you guys get your life jackets ready (I only have a few)...
Oh and by this time next year.... I'm thinking 6.0 swap
pics coming soon...

I was thinkin' that if that SOB gets in the water at full speed, that lil canoe gon catch a head-wind, and flip. With the weight of that Merc, I'd guess you NEED nine people just to keep the boat level.
JFWY!
