yeah it could happen, if you're positive, . . . then it was the seat pressure that killed it.

was it making any knocking noise?

Not really. It ran well all week long and SOTP told me it had some increased upper mid and top power. I let the springs go through a couple heat cycles before I got on it though. I didn't hear any knocking or pinging ,and after it died the the other evening it ran really rough without significant mechanical noise. The only noise I remember was on initial start up after intallation.....as is normal while the lifters pump back up correct?

Got the truck back form the shop yesterday. I am letting the new parts, seat in and get friendly with one another. Engine guys said it was likely an unfortunate event and a bad spring. Fun, expensive, and unlucky...

I guess I just have to blame Beau.

I will be meeting up with Charlie on Monday and leaving Texas for good on Wed.

FYI stock pushrod=7.398 aftermarket=7.4 the base circle on most after markets cams is a hair smaller then factory
