Not really. It ran well all week long and SOTP told me it had some increased upper mid and top power. I let the springs go through a couple heat cycles before I got on it though. I didn't hear any knocking or pinging ,and after it died the the other evening it ran really rough without significant mechanical noise. The only noise I remember was on initial start up after intallation.....as is normal while the lifters pump back up correct?

Got the truck back form the shop yesterday. I am letting the new parts, seat in and get friendly with one another. Engine guys said it was likely an unfortunate event and a bad spring. Fun, expensive, and unlucky...
I guess I just have to blame Beau.
I will be meeting up with Charlie on Monday and leaving Texas for good on Wed.
Thanks for the input.
