if you are wanting to go that big I'd go with the iron block... put the Z06 motor in the truck

The Zo6 just became a 383 stroker..now I want to do his little brother Silverado with more cubes\cam\heads. This is Sportside's Black Silverado.

Hey tdrumm, thanks !!
Kyle is taking 4 classes and working... plus has been collecting suspension parts to lower it more. He decided to get a Colorado now, so I took the Silverado back...it only needs a little more motor, all the rest is new. I don't want to lower it anymore than it is...I like the stance from the rear.

I am trying to get it into the high-high 11's NA. He was last at 12.8 in summer air, so I need about 80 rwtq to pull that off. A 383 plus head porting & more cam should get me close.
