Hey Curt,

ThanKs RG...running 328 rwhp now and a 12.8 - 1/4 mile, the 402 should be around 475rwhp. Hoping for 11.9 NA in good air.

Hey guys,
no Kyle didn't spec out this one. We became friends with Pete Incaudo in South Florida. He does a lot of the flow testing for LS heads in several magazines. He did my 383 setup in the vette (very wicked cam for the street) and worked up this one to match my gear, tranny, TC and weight of the truck. Should have some good torque.

We went LS2 block, 402 Stroker with forged, balanced bottom end. The cam is basically a 232/236 - 600 on a 113+2 LSA. He ported the Fast to match a set of 225 AFR heads and flow tested each runner (actually blocks off all but one at a time to make it flow even and perfect). He said it takes several hours and not worth the little bit of money he charges. The guy is incredible. He didn't even charge me, he just said try it and see how you like it !!

SO...anyway here is a list.
410 posi on 4 link suspension, Rockon Tranny, 3600 Yank SC, 402 Alu Stroker @ 11:1 compression, balanced, cam (specs above), Milling high flow Oil Pump, AFR 255's, 92mm ported and "head matched" Fast, with Pete Incaudo 92mm TB, & Hooker Headers with cutouts. I guess I will get Doc @ EFI Alchemy to tune it if he can work me in..he has been so sucessful he is totally slammed. If not, Kyle can tune it for me.

This is the same motor as in the vette, just a little more cubes, ported\matched Fast and a little more torque. The vette dynoed 480/427 tq on a hot\rainy FL summer day. Cold dry air should really change things.

I may be hoping for too much to expect 475rwhp thru the Auto tranny. We shall see.

Damn Curt, thought I was the only one to get up at 5:30 am on the weekends..lol.

I hope to be rolling in 5-6 weeks. The vette is too expensive to fix when it breaks. Gonna start running the truck and save the vette for the street a track rental here and there.
Well off to the gym this morn and then hit the grocery store. The rest of the day is for boltin the motor together.
