Default Bad week turned good

Well I left Monday morning heading to Alabama for my annual meat trip. I didnt see **** for 3 days. Got home Wednesday night and repacked for Thursday (T-giving). Headed out to my Bro-n-Laws camp in Central Louisiana. Got on the stand about 3PM and saw a few doe at about 400 yds and they didnt wanna come any closer. Then a spike walked out about 60 yds from me and I watched him for a little while and he started acting weird and keept lookin down the food plot away from me. All of a sudden 3 nice bucks jumped out. They all weighed over 180 for sure. they were at about 250 yds and running around so I couldnt get a shot. I decided to wait a lil while before shooting. They started moving closer and I could see the horns better and knew the one I wanted to shoot. I took a shot @ 175 yds w/ my 30-06 and hit him a little far back the ****er took off. Tracked him about 80 yds into the woods and had lots of blood everywhere. heard him moving around so we decided to back out and let him die and go get him the next morning.

I didnt realize how big he was till we got there the next morning.

This is the biggest buck I have ever killed 220# 9pt Scored 120 (I thought he was symetrical --- he should have been a 130ish class deer)

I have never had buck fever before and have shot a few bucks (spikes on up to 6 points) I was all jittery and after the shot was trippin out

Friday afternoon I shot a 130 # Doe

I wish we had Delta deer down here. Im not hunting that far from the Delta but the deer arent nearly the size as up there.

Im about 30 miles from Marksville Louisiana right by an area called Three Rivers. The name of the Property is Martin Bay. My Bro-n-Law owns it. Its 1500 acres with a 110 acre lake. This is where we did the gator hunting too.

And as far as learn how to shoot, Im right handed but broke my glasses so Im wearing some old ones and when Id look with my right eye I couldnt really see so I took the shot left handed.
