Default BAD Day at Lone Star Motorsports Park!

I went to LSMP to get some 60' times, so i only ran the 1/8th. First pass i did a weak burnout and ran my buddy in his lightning. Rusty's lightning should be mid 12s easily but i had him until 1/8th mile and he had me by .2 seconds there when i shut down. I watched him go down the track and right at the 1000ft mark, he white smoked the track! We stopped and he got towed in. There was oil comming out of his throttle body...a lot of it! We think he chunked a rod!

Another buddy of mine has a built bullitt with a vortech sq trim.

His first pass was a 2.1 60', his **** started cutting out in 4th gear so he shut down at the 1000ft mark and rolled a 12.62.

Second pass was with a little better 60' time of 2.0 shutting down at the 1/8th because he lost all oil pressure rolling a 12.43.

He should have had an 11 second pass but we think he dropped his oil pump. I dont think there is any damage to his motor but once we get it apart, we will know for sure. So we had to pull him just outside the gates as the track closed at 6pm. I drove him back, hooked up to a car hauler (had to rewire the trailer wiring on my truck in the autozone parking lot! ) and drove all of the 80 miles again back to Sealy from College Station. Me and my buddy had to push the car up onto the trailer, with the help of some ratchet straps. It was really tough! We rolled in at 2am. I took this video last night as a towing fee. He was pissed.

May be NWS for language.

It was about 75* F. He just upgraded his fuel pump and injectors and had it tuned on a wideband. I dont know why it would have leaned out. He didnt get off the line for ****. I cut 2.0s all day dead hooking and i drug him off the line. Something was really wrong. He didnt spin either.

Tell your buddy it's less degrading than being towed by a dodge. I think I saw a certain white long bed being towed by 1. I will have to admit that I was afraid to open this thread because of your bad luck. Have you fixed your vibration?

I was the only guy out of the three of us that went that wasnt trailered home. I guess you have to have power to break stuff. Vibration is still going strong.
