Hey guys, they gave us a truck class and only 7 racers have said they are showing up. Please dont let the ones showing up, look stupid!!! Heres the thread that is started.

i hope they have fun with their shootout cause i surely won't be there.

That's a little harsh, no? **** happens. All that go and represent, thank you but nobody should feel like they are any less than because they cannot make it.
It's really cool they put a truck class in and I hope a lot of trucks make it.

You know, this whole thing is starting to rub me the wrong way. I got a PM from a moderator over on 'tech, and now I see this thread. It's like because I voted in the poll and am not going to be able to make the race that I'm some sort of lying, underhanded miscreant.

You're original thread on this board mentioned the possibility of a race, and directed me to a poll on 'tech. I voted, but I never realized that my vote was as good as a registration for an event that was going to take place 6 or so months later.

I have other priorities right now, school being the number 1 priority. Had I known that voting in this poll would be as good as registering for the event, giving up my 1st born, and selling my soul to the devil, I would never have voted.

Are all of the people that expressed interest in the car classes getting PM's questioning whether or not they signed up for an event that they said 6 months ago that they would attend?

 

Maybe that's your whole problem, you should learn to step around or over it. Your enthusiasm for a truck showing is cool and honorable but your confusing outlook on someone's "word" or "poll" is pretty far off target.

 

I wish I could make it out, but damn with the way the economy is it gets hard. Gas there and back, anything I break, nitrous, 116 fuel, hotel, **** adds up real quick.
