well so far i might make it. my motor is looking good but need to see if my issues go away. then i still havent made a clean pass yet. if i can get the truck dialed in the next few days and some how get a miracale to get extra funds and a sitter. then ill be there if nothing falls into place then i cant.

Sorry if I offended any of you. Just trying to make this happen, and maybe to hard? I understand if some cannot make it, I truly do. I took some of the post to heart. I welcome all that can come, if not we will do our best to make the truck class shine.

I had every intention of going, until... I went away to work for 4 months, signed on a house, changed my whole truck setup to something else, the stock market damn near crashed (again lol) and so on and so forth... See what I'm sayin?? I might make it next go-round... And speaking of high water, ill probably be cleaning up **** from that last hurricane while this event is going on anyway

exactly. i had every intention of going until buying a new house, blowing a transmission and the hurricane. i expected to have my new converter in and the nitrous installed by now but my hobby had to sit on the back burner for a little while until the dust clears.

I have planned to race at the shootout this year since attending last year (way before the truck class talk) when the truck just wasn't ready to race. Unfortunately the two events I look foward to in October, which normally fall on consecutive weekends (1st & 2nd) are on the same weekend this year. Therefor I will not be making it to the LSX shootout this year. It really breaks my heart not to participate in this event as I have spent a lot of time and money on the truck in the last few months to have it competition worthy for the shootout. Maybe next year.
