I quit 9/16/05.

I made a $500 bet with a bud that I could quit longer with him. He's the one that was whining about wanting to quit, not me. I only smoked 1/2 pack a day.

He lasted 2 weeks.

If you want to quit I have the answer and the way.

Three easy rules
1. Dont buy, beg or borrow.
2. Dont put one in your mouth, nose or 'other' orifice.
3. Dont light it. (Berretta)

No matter how hard it gets its real easy to quit, even though to this day I have the craving

if you liked to pay $30.00 for a carton then your going to

for new years i am going to quit cold turkey and put
my smokin money in to my truck fund.
It has been 12 days since I quit. Been a smoker for 28 years. I decided to quit when PappyDan said the price was going up. Never went up here, but I am still glad I quit.
Good Luck to all

I haven't smoked since the 2nd. No more patches, using a piece of gum every now and then.

Bunch of damn quitters.

I got the flu in 1996. Could shake it...it put me out of work for a week and a half, but I was still smoking buddy. Well, I was on the front deck smoking and I coughed...oh a good amount of blood came out of my mouth. I then coughed even harder and a **** load of blood came out of my mouth. I quit that day. 11 years later and I still have NO interest in them. Good for you guys, down side is the government has gotta find a new way to make killer revenue...OH YEH...crude oil.
