Hey guys, If you drive in or through Alabama be careful this week as this is take back the highways week.. There are about 200-300 more trooopers on the road this week and they are getting people for 1mph over the speed limit.. They are on the backroads too so just watch out.. I watched a ton of people from out of town pass me today and get a ticket.. at some places there were as many as 11 troopers giving tickets.. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up..

 

bout 3 years ago i got a dern ticket on I-20 in alabama... there were 8 troopers in the median right there by the Mercedes plant... i got pulled over for doin 81 in a 70 and Following Too Close... but he let me go on the speeding... freakin ticket was $155!!!!

Its physically impossible to do the speed limit on I-10 through Mobile.

 

 

65 through Mobile is the same way but I manged to do it today even resisting temptation as 2 hemis and a charger were riding beside me revving it up.. it was so hard..

 

So far I haven't seen any major increase in police. I was riding with a friend of mine tonight in a 1993 RX-7 with a built Ls1. I was wanting him so badly to just raise hell but reminded him about this "step up" in police enforcement.
