Naaa. With as much land mass and shore line as TN,MS,AL,& GA put together, you guys should have your own section. Hell, 50% or more of the threads in the Southern section are Texan.
As far as I recall the capital of the Confederate was in a few locations and none of them were in Texas.
Isn't more of your border linked to Mexico than it is the Gulf or the CSA?

I have no problem with Texas. But if you compare it to other states, you need to pool together 3-4 other succeeding states economies and demographics to be fair.
