Default 4l80e?

What is the price for an 4l80 if its built and need the kit to do this as well. Might go this route if its going to be about the same of a built 4l60e.

The converter I can trade up to an 80 one.

Well you know who to ask or call (the mod formerly known as 02denali), or PM Flyer, I think he's done it also with success...As for me I don't have a clue...

Why not just get a 65e from flt to make it easy on yourself?

the trans was a stage 2 from century, if you go to there site you will see what it is. supposed to be good for 450-750 rwhp, it could of been the pump or I striped the converter but won't know for sure untill monday. just looking at options.

there site is www.centurytransmission.com

P.S. they only make 2 stages in there tranmissions.

Ohh I see, did you get this add on? 5 pinion front planetary (for the ultimate 4L60E!) + $249.33

How much power are you planning on making? A stock 4l80e and a shift kit will take alot of power and abuse.

Same hp/tq I have now, just want it to hold it for more than a year. So a stock 4l80 with shift kit will hold more than a built 4l60E?
