seems to me that the 3269.00 includes a trans. but no comverter. you will have to work that out with precision. maybe they will give you a break on it. i used a crossmember out of a one ton truck and cut the center piece down to fit it. then cut out the old crossmember pieces so i could run the exhaust straighter out the back. had the driveshaft custom made here in town. i would call jag and see how much he could do it for.i also got the older 80e so both cooling lines were in the same position. good luck kevo. give me a call.

If you do go 80e i would like to see what time you would be running. I have one here next to a 60e and its bigger. How much more weight is the 80e than a 60e? Is anybody running an 80e without a power adder?

Its not do much the weight difference between the two, its the gear ratios.

Gear ratio's and isnt the rotational mass/wieght a little more in an 80e? Might want to think about stepping up your converter if you were to do the conversion.

But I dont see why a good 60e wouldnt hold you over for awhile. About 325hp N/A with no power adder should be able to be put to the ground by a 4l60e.
Might want to just simply try a diff builder.

you will loose 50hp with the 80E, now if you were a street racer the gearing would tear some people a new azz, it will pull 2nd gear with 4.10's to 95 at 6600 rpms.

With my 3.73's and 6200 RPM 2-3 shift I can hit 100-105 in 2nd gear.
Here's some good discussion on the tradeoffs of an 80E swap.
