Default 3rd gear clutches completely toasted in my "rebuilt" tranny

Well, the local builder got the tranny broke down yesterday. The third gear clutches were completely toast on the freshly rebuilt tranny. It has less than 20 miles on it, and it never shifted into third gear from install. Looks like Team tripp has some explaining to do. I paid for the shipping of the tranny there and back, and it appears nothing was done about these clutches, because it didn't have third gear before the rebuild.

Glad you found it, must have gotten scarred of the Z-71 to have it torn down so quick.

If I was very scared, I'd have left it in there and come up with some excuses as to why It's still torn up. I can't wait to show you and goshawk what you missed out on at the Hattie gathering. Prepare to feel slow.
