Default 1970 C-10 or......???

ok guys, my future plans on my truck was custom painting it and a 6.0 swap here in the next 2 months... but someone is selling me a 1970 C-10 shortbed 350c.i. (w/babycam), A/C... two tone red/white, 17"wheels... I have not seen it yet but they said it is almost in mint condition and really clean only thing is that the motor is starting to knock?..... and the price in really tempting its in the 3k range... I have always wanted one of these since high school and would really like to have one, but now that I had plans on my truck Im going to have to pick one or the other.... now Im stuck!! if I buy that one then I'll have 2 trucks sitting at home that are NOT daily drivers.... I'll just have to build and extra 2car garage to put both of them in.... ....

what would ya'll do???

get the truck and fix it up the way you want it.
the good thing about it is you can take your time with it.

Im going to try and go see it on fri. Im trying to talk the ole lady into giving the ok..... (she dont know I got a $4k bonus coming!).... but since I have always wanted one and if I buy it, it will be staying for a real long time, I would like to pass it on to my son when he grows up..... if I buy it, it will probably sit for a while before I start dumping $ into it... I'll have to do alot of reading on them to see exactly what I want to do....

by the way, last fri. at the track there was an old mand that had a 70-c10... he had a 540c.i. motor with a supercharger on top of that, motor took up almost the whole engine bay!!and and he was running 11.37 in the 1/4!!!! real cool old man, he said yup this is a real old mans hod rod in a truck!!!
