Dear Website Admin:
There's an app for vBulletin (and a couple other web forum software pieces) for the iPhone, Blackberry and maybe a couple other phones called "Tapatalk" It's slimmed down browser for smart phones.
I recently implemented it on a small local forum I admin and it seems wonderful. It costs the website nothing, for the full user version on their mobile device it's $2.99.

Changing anyone's mind after their mind is made up is difficult in the extreme.
The best examples of the difficulty probably arise in politics and religion, but global warming is another such example, and it seems related to politics, e.g. with many "conservatives" blaming "liberals" for concocting this "dumb theory" for some conspiratorial reasons. (However, let me go on record stating that I recognize that not all conservatives and liberals hold these polarzed views.)
