Default Removing post counting from New Members section

A day doesn't go by that I don't see people bumping 50 new member threads just trying to rack up posts. Most of them do it to cheat the rule for the classifieds, which is there for a reason, what good does it do if they can just go spam a section.

That, and it clutters up the New Posts list for those of us who use it.

Here's a nice example

At least my posts are part of conversations and somewhat contributing

I'm sure I could have double the posts I have now if I posted "Welcome to PT" 10 times every day

I agree.

It's funny that you see someone that joined 2 days ago going in there and welcoming people to the site that joined a week ago.

They'll just ***** up other areas but I still agree. I've been using the Report button on the left of the posts to report as spam.

I for one use the count to help half *** judge who to believe and who to take advice from. I'd someone has seven thousand post...I know they've done their share of reading and take this stuff serious lik1 I do. I don't base everything off this obviously, but it helps.

Yea. If they have 7k posts and they've only been here 2 years they probably just post random bullshit or just ask a lot of questions and never learn anything.
