Lightbulb New ADVANCED TUNERS sub section idea

Maybe this has been brought up before but I don’t recall.

I was thinking (dangerous as that is) that in the GM tuning and diagnostics section we could have a sub section for questions related strictly to HPT/EFI/Tunercat etc...

An ADVANCED Tuning section if you will.

That way people who do there own tuning wouldn’t have to sift through all the general tuning questions about "Who has the best mail order tune", " What’s the best handheld", "What is a crank relearn".

Since I am now doing my own tweaking I find it hard to get answers to questions such as "Which table in EFI regulates TPS vs. PE mode?" "What are you guys setting your upper limit rpm threshold to?" Basically, things only a person experienced with the actual software would know.

What do ya think?

P.S. If you do it, I want to be a Moderator

I think its a great idea personally... that way I could just lurk and read up and learn before I actually get my own software and screw somehting up I probably wouldnt post in it but i'd definitely read up and consider it to be valueable info most likely.

Honestly I don't see why the question on mail order tuning and handhelds are even allowed in the tuning section.
