Hey, if people are going to get a e-fight with you it doesn't matter how old you are; it's retarded and pointless. Personally, I've been around too long to be dealing with that sort of crap.

I believe that on this board it isn't the same because it's a different class of people. We all drive trucks and SUV's. The guys here get along and it seems laid back. Sure, you'll get an occasional tool that'll show up with something to prove but it happens.

It makes me wonder if on the performance car boards there are some many fights because like the saying goes the car is compensating for 'other' inadequecies. I say this having owned two LS1 F-bodies and an 03 Cobra.

 

I personally like it the way it is. It doesn't matter how old anyone is. We are all here for the same purpose (well, most of us).
Even if you could display ages for "security reasons" it won't matter because you can always just lie about your age.
One great thing about not listing ages is that it helps each person visualize the other people to be the same age group. Which might be part of the reason we all get along so well.
