On this site, I cannot seem to stay logged in. Whenever I click a link to change the page, I seem to get logged out. It's kind of a PITA, especially in members only sections. I'm a member of multiple forums and this is the only site I have these problems. I've tried it on multiple machines and I've ruled out cookie settings on my machines. I think it has to do with how I joined the site.

When I first joined, I simply clicked the Facebook log in and posted that way. I now log in using my username and password. This problem has persisted since I first joined.

Could you please try to clear your browser's cache & cookies, then revisit the site.

That should solve your problems.

Tried that on multiple computers. No change.

In order for me to post on this site, I have to go through at least three sign in pages before my post will appear.

 

Luckily this site works well for me, but I know exactly what you're talking about. When browsing from my phone, silveradoss(.)com does the same thing to me. Its really annoying when you can get pms or post at all which is what happens most of this time to me. This is only from my phone though. On my laptop, I can browse seamlessly. I still haven't firgured it out. Hopefully someone who knows will chime in.

 

I never thought to try logging in with my phone.

Yeah, I have the same problem on my iPhone as I do with my laptop and desktop.

Maybe my account needs to be deleted and I need to re-register the right way?

 

There's something wrong with the site because I joined directly from this site about 2 years ago, a few weeks back I tried to post pics of stuff I bought and It did the same thing to me, and it pissed me off so bad I was cursing everything to do with this site.

 

Right now, I am using a computer I have never accessed these forums on before. I have 9 cookies installed from this site, their details can be seen in the image below.




When I hit the site, if I log in right away because I want to see what updates are in my subscribed threads, I will be signed out when I click on "User CP". I'll log back in and be directed to my CP, but, since my last visit was just moments a go as far as the server is concerned, I am told there are no new posts.

Now, my GF is an admin on a board that uses phpBB and she had problems with users not being remembered when they logged in and it was caused by security settings being set to "paranoid". When it happened to her, it was only happening to users with a certain ISP on the Left Coast.

I hope that provides more information than you actually need.

 

I've got to check the keep me logged in button or it won't let me stay logged in iPhone or pc!

 

Oh, I've got that button checked, too. This ain't my first rodeo. lol

We believe this is related to the fact your account was created via facebook. I assure you that we are looking into it, and hopefully will find the cause soon.
