guys got any info on why my 2004 6.0 2500hd manual 5 speed is only gettin 10.3 with 285's and 4.10's? custom 87 tune, replaced stock muffler with bullets, cold air intake.

i was pretty pissed to see my numbers!!!!! that was calculated on half a tank of 11.5 gallons and 117.5 miles!!!!!!!!!! any way to set a/f tables for cruise mode on a manual?

if you are going off the gas guage thts going to be hard. they arent as acturate as you think. what was you getting before?

best way to measure gas if getting the recipt of how many gallons you put in and divide by actual miles

i did just that, topped my tank off all the way. then set the trip. after it was a bout half way down i figured it was enough gallons gone to measure a good bit. so i topped it back off by putting 11.5 gallons back in it, then divided by the 117.5 miles i put on the half tank (well what read half tank). thats 10.2 mpg. now 285's are not a huge tire and mine are not overly wide, the 4.10's should have no problem turning them over. i am not trying to compare my truck to a 5.3 or half ton. i know my truck has heavier everything and more displacement. just doesnt match up to most other hd's. i guess well have to play with it quik? higher octane-better mileage?!?!?

actually the 4.10s wit a 32.8 should bring your closer to a 30.5 (stock) wit 3.80s (3.73s) i would imagine. thats really bad dude, how fast were you going?

fully bolt on I got 450-490 to a full tank....fully bolt on/stall I got 360-370 miles to a full tank....fully bolt on stall/cam 290-320miles to a full tank....and now that I'm just fully bolt on and cam i'm getting 380miles to a full tank, about 14.6 mpg.
